When Angelo was 18 years old he joined his father's masonry company. Angelo's father, Paolo Pironi, built hi-rises in NYC, train depots on Long Island and Temples in Brooklyn and Queens with a crew of 70 employees. Although Angelo was running his father's business by the age of 20 years old, he wanted to build custom homes. In 1979 that dream became reality when he built his first custom home and continues to build homes today. An unfortunate accident in 1983 resulted in the death of his father and his return to the masonry business to finish all his fathers' outstanding jobs in the tri-state area.
Angelo and Silvana began collaborating and built their business together. A family business where they deal with their customers on a personal basis. They are project managers, developers, and brokers. Angelo has built a reputation based on integrity, loyalty, and professionalism. Contractors work on his crew for many years because they know Angelo is the best at what he does and a man of his word. Customers return to him for their second homes and often refer friends and family members so they too may have a "Pironi" home.
Angelo Pironi has built homes, estates, commercial buildings and shopping centers on Long Island. His reputation speaks for itself. He is a family man and proud of his Italian heritage. Angelo is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
In 1981 Silvana Bosco became a Real Estate Agent for Merrill Lynch and successfully became their #1 producer for the next 5 years. In 1987 Silvana became a licensed Broker and opened her own Real Estate company, S. Bosco Realty, named as a tribute to her late father. The office quickly grew into one of the largest Independent Real Estate Companies in Nassau County. Silvana was also active in the community she serviced as well. She participated in the Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club and Woman in Business Club and volunteer for Sons of Italy to help residents young and old. Silvana met Angelo through her real estate work and they married. She ultimately became the woman behind Pironi Homes working alongside Angelo. She secured financing for upcoming projects and walked customers through the design of their "custom" home. This included assisting customers in finding a mortgage, shopping for home decor, choosing paint colors, etc. Silvana works side by side with each customer from inception to completion guiding them step by step, room by room. Her main priority is that the customer is built the home they envision for themselves and their families. In working so closely with these families, Silvana has developed many friendships. In addition to guiding the customers, Silvana also deals with attorneys, banks, accountants, surveyors, and engineers. She runs the daily operations of the office efficiently with the assistance of her staff and office manager, who purchased a custom home from Pironi Homes 32 years ago. Silvana characterizes herself as a devoted wife, mother of 4, grandmother of 4, and extremely fortunate to love her work and is proud of the family business she built alongside her husband. They say that behind every successful man is an exceptional woman. Angelo certainly agrees.
Paolo is the son of Angelo and Silvana Pironi. Angelo started to bring Paolo on job sites when he was 2 years old, and he first put him to work at the age of 12, picking up garbage and cleaning the sites. Angelo wanted to be sure Paolo knew the meaning of hard work. As work progressed on the sites, and Paolo got to see these beautiful unique homes going up, he gained an appreciation for all the trades on the job and all the hard work that goes into each home. Paolo knew then that he wanted to go into the family business. In 2012 Paolo graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a BA degree in Architecture. Paolo formally joined the family business after graduation in 2012 as a Project Manager. With a new take on the business Paolo is bringing the company into the future of building with innovative ideas and introducing new building practices. He has introduced new marketing ideas, developing the companies on line presence through multiple social media outlets. Paolo is also involved with the community as a member of his local Chamber of Commerce, a volunteer firefighter and currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Long Island Builders Institute, Long Islands professional builders’ organization.
Barbara Carrella has been a part of Pironi Homes since its inception. She has been working with Angelo Pironi for the last 25 years as his office manager and administrative assistant. She met Angelo and Silvana when she was searching to buy a house in Franklin Square for her family. Shortly after they met, Barbara began working for Angelo. Through the years she has been a devoted employee and friend. Not only does she work in Franklin Square, but also Barbara and her family still reside in the area in a house built by Angelo Pironi.
